I don't know if it's possible (recipe-wise, or if so, sales-wise), but I'd like a chocolates that don't go overload on sugar. I'm thinking 8 to 13g per serving. Sugar is already difficult to cut out in one's modern diet. 30g to 40g... ugh, although I have made exceptions for those as treats :x

Dark chocolate is my favourite and then milk chocolate.
Just got another bag of Dove dark chocolate hearts. I might have one a day.

As I have posted on another thread, I like the darker Chocolove bars. I’ve tried other brands, but Chocolove are my absolute favorites. Most other brands od dark chocolate are waxy.

But I am a dark chocolate person, and have always preferred it to milk chocolate. Apparently this preference is inborn. DH prefers milk chocolate.

Me: Dark all the way. Specifically the ones with 70% - 85% cocoa content.

I LIKE it all but stick with dark chocolate, 77%, for the benefits, just a square or two a day.

I read 77% is the lowest amt that will still provide those benefits. Much more % and I can't eat it, just too bitter.

For the purpose of getting the benefits of dark chocolate I mix a couple of heaping (as much as can possible fit on the spoon) teaspoons of pure unsweetened cocoa with my scrambled eggs and add a teaspoon of honey to sweeten it, and a couple teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil. But when it comes to just wanting to get a chocolate fix, a Hershey's milk chocolate bar does the trick. Or a glass of low fat chocolate milk.

Last night I splurged on a bar of Endangered Species organic fair trade Intense Velvety dark chocolate, 88% (which has only 3 grams sugar per serving) for Valentine's day. I love dark chocolate though only eat chocolate on special occasions.
