I know a woman who drinks 8-10 glasses of skim milk everyday, she loves to drink milk and considers milk to be her favorite beverage, she is a middle aged woman and is in great health/shape, she even drinks milk with her meals at restaurants

as long as she can digest it she should be okay. but milk is acidic, so she should counter balance her diet with some alkaline foods as well.

That seems like an awful lot of calories from liquid alone.... Even if she's drinking skim.

Skim milk = approx 80 calories for 8 oz. So assuming each glass is only 8 oz, she's drinking a minimum of 640 - 800 calories daily. More if her serving size is larger.

Ask the Swiss, who are the world's biggest consumers of dairy products per capita. They're among the healthiest and longest-lived people in the world.

If it's working for her and she is healthy with good bone density I don't see a problem.

That is a lot of milk. But at least it is skim....better than drinking multiple diet cokes, that's for sure. My stomach could never handle that much milk!

The Maasai of Africa drink huge amounts of (fatty) milk and remain healthy, but no one knows the exact reasons for their health. Even the few fat Maasai are healthy.

I'm also a milk lover. Sometimes I'll buy a gallon of whole milk and it seems creamier then the last gallon.
If it's like this I can kill the gallon in just over a day..
I drink about 3-4 16 once glasses of whole milk daily..
