Okay, I read about this stuff in one of my Lucky Peach magazines and I bought several packages. I've tried the recipes on the package and the recipe in the magazine and they all taste like cardboard. It's supposed to make an excellent creamed corn dish.

Does anyone here have a recipe, using John Copes Toasted Dried Sweet Corn, that they like? I assume it's a Pennsylvania thing as the product was originally made there. Folks who like the stuff rave about it, so I just want to know where I'm going wrong.
