I'm Jewish. I'll be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with an Italian family. The better question might be "what WON'T we be eating?"
I've eaten plenty of meals with these folks over the last few months and it gets VERY out of hand VERY quickly.
I know that there will be tons of seafood (lobster, shrimp, mussels, calamari, etc...) on the menu along with tons of pasta (hello, homemade lasagna... how I love thee), and I can only guess on the desserts. Oh god... I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Family's coming over this year. It will be on Christmas, late afternoon, and I've got some pork tenderloin with some scalloped potatoes, salad, green beans and onions, cornbread dressing, rolls, and two kinds of iced tea.
Pumpkin pie and cookies for dessert.
