Well, I made chili, it is in the crock pot now. It might be "interesting". I added a beer, as I usually do, cracked open a cherry ale...whoops....added a tablespoon of cocoa for a change. .we might come home to a big batch of cherry chocolate candy chili....
Ok MUST ask about that bread recipe! You make your own Cuban bread and for that I am giving tons of Kudos, but with this twist I will have to try it.
Girl you are in Miami! You can pick up a pan con chorizo at all the bakeries. Sigh I can't get ANY cuban bread at all up here. My favorite bakery if it's still there is Sunset Bakery on Sunset drive and Galloway. So good!!!
Posole is tonight but my plans are switched till next week so I am going to take advantage and make a vegetable lasagna with a white sauce and pesto. I am adding roasted garlic to my 3 cheese semolina bread. Will reheat tomorrow for dinner.
Very simple since I'm going to attempt to do our taxes tonight - bacon chicken cheese quesadillas, tossed salad, cilantro rice and left over raspberry parfaits (mine is going to need a little shot of rum though).
Steak, rice, salad, ... Tomorrow we will have a crowd and I want to have Spaetzle and the crust for Tarte de Pommes done. Paperthin shortbread to hold pears and almonds; portion size to avoid "tarte slaughter" at the table:>)
Shrimp cocktail to start that I got at Costco. Then. leftover tuna noodle casserole and I added spinach to it tonight. Sweet iced tea to drink.
