Tonight, I'm meeting a friend at Trail Dust Steakhouse in Cross Roads, TX. I'm planning on having a steak (either a tenderloin, a sirloin, or a ribeye), country beans, salad, a baked potato, and iced tea.
Tonight we have melted Camembert on little square rye /flax bread,a tomato salad with chives,salt/black pepper, vinegar and olive oil. I bought 2 Neapolitan pastry and we will have that with mulled wine.
Having friends over: I am making chicken merlot, green beans with garlic and oil, Caesar salad, baked potatoes that I slice half way down and stuffed with fresh garlic and drizzle with EVOO. (4 slices each potato)
Pinto beans cooked with a little pork shoulder, lots of onions, fresh cilantro and some chopped tomatoes served over rice. A mixed greens salad with Ranch dressing.
A strawberry-banana non-fat Greek yogurt, a whole wheat pita bread and a toasted slice of whole wheat bread together with healthy-style margarine and strawberry spread and a mug of Ceylon tea with a teaspoon of sugar and a bit of skim milk.
