We are having chicken breasts topped with tomato/onion spread, green bean and tomato salad and yes, from the garden and creamed new potatoes and peas. I am so happy to have something from the garden. The beans aren't much: the seeds were left from last year, but at least we are getting some and there are more to come.
Rib eye as SO is past patient restraints (:>))))
I made salad of Romaine (it is too ho for it to head), cocktail tomatoes briefly heated in olive oil and balsamico and onion slices. If the garden patch has enough - rerun.
I'm feeling a little queasy so I'm making something fairly light for dinner: Chinese chicken and corn soup, and they can also have turkey and cheddar clubs and leftover chocolate cream pie for dessert.
Chicken salad (leftover Satay chicken) with croutons, tomatoes, beets, fresh parsley, onion, Parmesan and Romano cheeses with a dollop of Caesar salad dressing.
I have an avocado that has been sliced and awaiting its next destination so a few slices of avocado will add a little more 'umph'.

We had chicken piccata, red skinned potatoes and brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic. Divine.
