It seems like I eat a lot of smoked salmon and I do.
BUT....I buy a pound of smoked salmon trimmings for $7.00.
It's the bits and pieces that aren't pretty enough or uniform enough to sell for $35 a pound.
Same fish. I love it.

Tonight we are grilling up some Chipotle marinaded chicken and making some cheesy green bean casserole to go with it!

Cow Appreciation Day at Chick Fil A . All we have to do is stick on some black cow spots and put on a cow headband (which they provided) and we all get free meals. Can't beat the price and we love their food.

Don't forget the capers.

I need to use up some leftover proteins. Salad with leftover chicken, pork chops, onions, beets, tomatoes and avocado served with garlic croutons and Italian cheeses. Included will be a side of salsa and Caesar dressing. I will accordingly knife a portion of the salsa or dressing on the forkful of ingredients to savor different flavor profiles.
