Baked chicken breasts with a maple-mustard glaze, rice-a-roni copycat (never had rice-a-roni, even though I know it is/was the San Francisco treat, but it was very good), green beans, warm wheat rolls, and unsweetened iced tea to drink.
Yeah, what is that? I am all for anything with noodles.
Beef and noodles in our house are basically beef tips or leftover sirloin pieces cooked in a skillet with a little broth and seasoning, then you make a dark mushroom sauce with the drippings (not as thick as say country gravy).
You have cooked egg noodles with the beef on top, then pour the sauce over and enjoy.
Added BBQ sauce and am heating the ribs leftover from the standing rib roast, will do some sort of green veg to go with. Brownies & pistachio ice cream for dessert.
