Just curious as to HOW you eat your pizza. Maybe it varies between a restaurant and pizza from Domino's or something, but let's talk generalities. Not including things like deep dish pizza, just your classic crust, thin or deep pan pizza.

This is a multiple choice poll with two components.

The first is how you eat your pizza: with hands as is crust first, with hands as is crust last, with hands folded over, or with a knife and fork.

The second component is whether you eat the crust or not.

Choose one for each.

As for me, I usually eat with my hands, from the inside out towards the crust without folding or anything. I'll usually only eat with a knife and fork if it's very messy/hot - even in Italy i often used my hands.

I tend to eat the crust unless it's very dry/hard or unpalatable. A good pizza has crust you actually enjoy, IMO, not something that feels like a chore to eat. I think that's one advantage over some of the oilier fast food pizza, the crust has more flavour than the dry traditional style pizza.

Should be an interesting poll, lol.

NOTE: If you choose option 1 but don't eat the crust, just select it anyway.

I always eat the crust, it's my favorite and I fold my pizza in half before eating it. Never use a fork and knife. If the crust is dry then I dip the crust in blue cheese dressing or ketchup. I don't waste a single piece on my pizza slice.

Never knife and fork, unless it's deep dish and very hot. But deep dish is its own thing. Regular slice of pizza? No to the knife and fork.

I don't fold, I'm not a New Yorker and don't typically get huge slices the span of two hands that require folding to not make a mess. The folding thing had gotten to be a gimmick, IMO. I just pick it up and eat it point to crust.

Always eat the crust, it's my favorite. Some crust is better than others, but even at it's most "meh," it's still pretty good.

I eat the crust. I make pizza at home, so the crust is always delicious.

If the slice is too big/floppy or toppings are sliding off, I'll use K&F for the first few bites to take off the point and make it more manageable. Then I'll pick it up.

It's kind of perplexing to me that this is the sort of debate that people get passionate about. I mean, the goal is to get the food into your mouth without wearing any of it. Whatever it takes. There is no right or wrong. If you want to use a knife and fork, knock yourself out. I had a New Yorker try to tell me that I was wrong, and I basically told him to get bent. LOL

Apparently so ... didn't you see that Mayor diBlasio was recently "schooled" when he took to using a K&F? New Yorkers insist that you NEVER use K&F (SACRILEGE!!!), always your hands. And if it's too big, you fold it in half.
