I eat a lot of frozen pizza, because I love pizza. I never get DiGiorno unless I have to have one and it's the only choice. I prefer to buy ones that come from local parlors. They are most like a real delivery.

Even the best frozen pizzas I know that Whole Foods sells are only $7.99, so you are seriously exaggerating the price of DiGiorno.

I do order from the local parlors for fresh pizza once in a while, but they are very expensive.

I never buy from Domino's, Papa John's or Pizza Hut. They were never all that good, but the last few times I got them it was just terrible. Maybe you can get a large all the works pizza from them sometimes for $10,00, but I'd rather have frozen. Even Jack's, which go for about $2.00.

I tried Little Caesars once.

It is a good idea to buy frozen cheese pizzas and add your own toppings. Actually I get cheese and sausage because fresh sausage often doesn't cook right in the time it takes to cook the pie. I could brown the sausage ahead of time, but that's too much like work.

Then I add the best pepperoni I can find and fresh veggies, black olives and some more cheese. The veggies and olives I pick up a batch at a time from my store's salad bar. I have tried a lot of different pepperoni, but I haven't found a favorite.

I also use a pizza stone. The crust comes out usually perfect. I have a paddle and one of those batliff pizza knives too.

I need to go to the store!

I buy them for one reason ... convenience. I would much rather make my own pizza, but sometimes it is just more convenient to pop one out of the freezer and into the oven. I usually buy them on sale and stick them in the freezer for opportunities of convenience.

A Jeno's single costs a buck where I live. And you gotta feed the kids something.

Frozen pizza is far cheaper than any pizza chain nearby to my house. Papa Johns, Pizza Hut and Domino's all suck just about as bad as a frozen pizza and I don't have to pay a delivery fee AND tip a driver.

We use to because we didnt care or know any different. Now we might buy one if we are really in a hurry. IF we have pizza its more like a pizza bagel.

I rarely buy them. I did buy some Digiorno's when there was a coupon out... and they were pretty gross. Not to mention, small. Practically seems like a serving for one person! (I mean, it's pizza... come on). So I just gave up. They're not really worth it. Would rather grab a walmart take n bake for $8... and they're double the size of a frozen pizza.

You can even get a Newman's Own pizza for about $5 (some places)... however, there's never enough sauce so I add more, as well as other stuff too.
