Seemed very weird to me too (and was quite apprehensive when I was cooking it and almost didn't eat) but figured if they sell it in the supermarket it can't be that weird.

I'm attempting a switch to organic grain products, so I no longer buy Quaker Oats or store brand instant oats, and I buy an organic blend I've found. Trying to find organic cereal bars that don't taste like crap, but I haven't found any yet. I was a fan of Trader Joes, but I heard they are potentially using GMO products because they refuse to admit where their products are really coming from (most of their products, anyway).

I also buy a lot more tea than I use to. Dandelion tea is a major health plus for me (so far), even though it tastes like black tea (which is no bueno).

Organic produce.

Feta cheese. Pretty much the only cheese I put in my salads now.

Organic salad dressings.

Greek Yogurt.

And outside of food products, I'm starting to use a lot of natural items to do household things (like vinegar for cleaning, and soap nuts for laundry, and making my own foam hand soap, etc).
