Has anyone tried something called cream honey? I found it in the pancake isle, so I decided to give it a try instead of syrup. I really don't like the taste of it, and it looks like margarine mixed with honey. I know that the supermarkets used to sell canned royal jelly before the bee population declined. I've never tried it and was wondering if maybe they have a similar taste since they look similar. If they do not and I'm really missing out, are there places that still sell royal jelly? What kinds of recipes would you use either of these in? I thought I might be able to put cream honey on pancakes; since it looks like butter and tastes like honey, maybe it could do both jobs.

Is it related at all to royal jelly, the natural butter-like substance produced in the hive?
