None of the above. Gelato is my favorite. Dairy Queen is good in a pinch. I think most frozen yogurts are ridiculously over-priced. Why?

Frozen custard, which is similar to gelato, and far superior to ice cream in my opinion. The best I've had is from a little regional chain called Andy's.

Although I haven't had real custard since I was a young boy living in Wisconsin, I can still taste it over 25 years later. I love ice cream too, but there's something nostalgic about custard. I've only dabbled in froyo and wasn't too impressed.

When I was younger and living up around Rochester, NY, it was Abbott's frozen custard. Mostly always got chocolate.
Several moves and years later, found a couple places I can get frozen custard. Opting for mix of peanut butter and chocolate. Now 2 that I know of are no longer at their locations - no idea what happened to them.
Dairy Queen mini Blizzard - Christmas time - peppermint.
Gelato - Haagen Daz's - cappuccino and the bacio. Haven't seen the latter one in quite some time.
There's another brand of gelato out there - Simply ?? , that has pistachio.
Another favorite of mine.
Also like frozen yogurts - choc, choc/peanut butter mix, choc/coffee, Black cherry, pistachio, buttered almond, ....
Ice cream - Edy's creamy peppermint (usually only available around Christmas),..creamy chocolate,...
Ben&Jerry's - Cherry Garcia,...
Ah, guess that's enough
Just noticed that there have been 4 new flavors added to the Haagen Daz's gelato line-up [have not seen any of them in my area yet] :
Haagen-Dazs is expanding on their line of gelato with four new flavors: Caramelized Banana Chip, Tiramisu, Pistachio, and Pomegranate Swirl.

Looking forward to it. Want to compare their pistachio to the brand we currently have. Tiramisu - yum. The other two sound good too.

If everything's available I'll choose Ben and Jerry's FroYo Cherry Garcia. But this isn't very fair. I love it all. I try not to take in that many calories if it's not something I'm crazy about... chocolate and nuts... yum... But B & J's Cherry Garcia will hit the spot!

Ice Cream. Bluebell's Dutch Chocolate is my favorite brand and flavor along with Bluebell's 'Great Divide' which is half vanilla and half Dutch Chocolate.

Never heard of frozen custard.
:0
I love gelati. Preferably a dish of chocolate, lemon, and strawberry. Mmmm.
I have to be in the mood for it though, ice cream is usually too rich for me.

All 3 choices are available to me, I can get ice cream at several places, like friendly's, Coyle's, pam's Ice cream, carvel etc.... Custard I can get from Rita's and frozen yogurt just about anywhere within a 10 mile radius. I like all 3, but Ice cream is my favorite. Hagen Daas vanilla Swiss almond, Turkey hill moose tracks, Pinstripe brownie blast, tin roof sundae, French vanilla, butter almond or chocolate. I refuse to buy breyers anymore because it tastes fake to me and isn't real ice cream anymore. Edy's I like butter pecan.
