Wings are great with an endless variety of sauces...but a fresh fish fry simply can't be beat.

Freshly fried, fresh fish is awesome...flounder, croakers, spots, crappie, herring, clams, grouper, mahi, sea mullet, shrimp, oysters, calamari...countless options.

Fish fry for the win.

I grew up in the deep south where almost every Saturday morning someone was having a fish fry sale. Some were churches, others charity/fundraising events, and others even private households just looking to make extra money.

I kinda miss those days.

I love wings, but there's only so much built-in variation.

With a fish fry, the options are vast. Fish fry wins.

Put me down for both, also! I think I give a slight advantage to wings, though, but they have to be good.

Fish fry but it has to be fresh fish. The hot steamy fish under a layer of perfectly cooked batter (or breading).
Okay, for all you fried fish lovers - who else eats the fried fish tail from whole fried fish? Fried catfish tails are crazy good.

Not only the tails - I'll eat the heads and all if it's a tasty little fish like whiting fried whole.

Very true - I eat the whole fried fish when it's a fresh anchovy or small fresh sardine. The whiting I can get are too large and have already been dressed.
