Me, too... black & red ones only. In fact, I'm happy with just black. Someone gave me a few Jelly Belly's when they were first on the market (didn't Ronald Regan make them more mainstream, when it was revealed he always had a jar at his desk?) & people went insane for them, keeping them in jars on their desks, radio station contests to mix the most interesting flavors, etc. As a young girl, the price was always a bit too hefty to justify purchasing them, let alone leaving them about unprotected from the masses, who were scoffing beans left & right everywhere I looked, even on the subway.

Occasionally, I'll spring for some licorice... but, I eat the whole container in one sitting, then need a little lie down from sugar shock. I do like that Panda licorice, though... tastes better than the rest, but again, the price makes me keep my $ in my pocket.

But, for Easter, yes, I'll probably buy some black & red jelly beans.

You can buy bags of all black jelly beans. Heaven!

I like the fact that there are so many different kinds now. Before it was just a matter of avoiding the licorice ones -- now I can seek out lemon-lime or turkey-and-gravy or Smoothie flavors, or you name it.

I don't really like them but I don't actually hate them either. I haven't seen or tried them in years.

Starburst and Jelly Bellys are good; the cheap ones are horrible. Still, I try not to eat too much sugar. Sigh....

I love sugar in all its glorious forms, including jelly beans. Black and cherry are my favorite flavors. I agree that Starburst and Jelly Bellys are the bees knees, but I don't recall ever having a bad jelly bean. I've never had a bad slice of bacon either. I don't buy candy anymore due to a change in diet, but I had a good run.
