Garlic makes me thirsty. With or without salty things around it.

I love pizza, but after eating a pizza I have to have a drink. Maybe because your average pizza has a hell of a lot of salt in it, not just the sauce but pepperoni etc if it's got it. Also if the crust is really dry, the whole combo. I don't know what it is, but I think tomato paste/thick sauce just seems to make me really thirsty.
It's likely the garlic. Anything heavy in garlic will dehydrate me.

Crystal Light. I don't get why drinking this makes me even more thirsty! I've tried it a few times, but I don't buy it anymore, since it defeats its whole purpose.

Ice cream and sweetened beverages (even if it's artificial sweetener) always serve to make me more thirsty.

Eating pizza makes me thirsty for hours after - Chinese food does the same thing.
