I don't drink milk shakes that often, but when I do, I ask for a glass of water at the same time.

That's quite a feat - you can drink a milkshake and ask for a glass of water at the same time?

I love pizza, but after eating a pizza I have to have a drink. Maybe because your average pizza has a hell of a lot of salt in it, not just the sauce but pepperoni etc if it's got it. Also if the crust is really dry, the whole combo. I don't know what it is, but I think tomato paste/thick sauce just seems to make me really thirsty.

Burgers and stuff too, and I guess drier foods like sandwiches. On the other hand an Asian noodle soup not so much obviously.

Chinese food, even without MSG added, makes me want to drink gallons of water.
