I make my own ketchup, keep it in a jar, and spoon it out. I much prefer mine It's thicker, spicier and less sweet than the usual.

In southwestern Illinois, and not too far from St. Louis, is the old remnants of Brooks Catsup (spelled this way rather than Ketchup) factory. The Catsup Bottle shaped water tower still exists and is noted to be the largest Catsup Bottle in existence and is protected under a preservation group.

It is fun to go see this huge bottle in all of its glory and magnificent shape and bright colors.

My nephew used to work at this catsup factory when it operated, and he said if you knew what went into catsup (bugs, worms, rotten tomatoes, mold, caterpillars, etc) you would never eat catsup again!
