Most women know something about birthin' babies.
Pretty sure even most men know they're not found in a cabbage patch or delivered by stork.

I prefer a round or oblong cake to these monstrosities. It's not my sense of humor.

Having worked in the medical profession, however; I think that whoever said that it was "medical humor" was spot on. It reeks of it.

Also, the people would have to have access to monitors, forceps etc.

Even seeing medical instuments near a cake makes me queasy. The cakes themselves make me queasy.

No. Not for me.

If you google "push Olivia push" you can see the cake that started the trend of gross baby shower cakes. (don't know if that picture made the slideshow, I've seen enough of those kind of pictures to last a lifetime so I didn't go all the way through) I used to make cakes and for a while it seemed like people were always trying to outdo the grossest cake they had ever seen. The Olivia cake was the first I'd seen like that, I can remember how outraged or disgusted all the ladies on the cake decorating forum were, but now that kind of thing is not unusual.

You worked in the medical profession and the sight of medical instruments make you queasy?
They don't bother me bit.
