I was in need of comfort food yesterday and didn't even know it until afterwards when I realized I had made a chicken and stuffing casserole, tuna salad and a coffee cake.

I looked on here for previous threads and found a holiday comfort food but that's all. http://www.city-data.com/forum/food-...fort-food.html

What are your "go-to" comfort foods?

A big pot of chili, roast beef or roast chicken with lots of gravy and mashed potatoes, homemade mac and cheese and my husband's famous lasagna.
