That's what i was thinking about too..people that eat like they haven't had a meal in a month!

It's also irritating when people are rude to the help when the help is polite and kind...The I'm better than you
attitude i find distasteful!

Coming over to our house for a dinner and not eating very much--even when it's a dish I know they like and had prepared specially for them--and I'm a good cook This one friend is very competitive and doesn't like it when you cook something terrific--only she is allowed to do that. Our friendship has cooled over this.

A shame, really. I enjoyed her cooking and ate a lot at their home, and always praised her cooking. Wish she could of done the same for me. At least sometimes.

People who chew with their mouths open and make that constant smacking sound. When you cook a big meal that takes hours to prepare and all you get is "i dont like this, i dont like that, i wont eat this if its cooked like this or with that, it doesnt taste as good as so and so's. i'll only eat my Mom's" type crap, or they dump ketchup all over it.

Went to the local butcher shop and bought some really nice porterhouse steaks to take to a friend's house for a cookout. These things cost about $20 each and after grilling them he went and dumped ketchup all over his. For that and other reasons we're not friends anymore.

people who eat so fast it makes me think I'm being slow but I know I'm not.
Also people- even family- who take food from your plate without asking permission first.

That happened once in my family and the culprit had to go to the ER to have the fork removed from his hand.

Good lord, my mom keeps doing this. Always, and I mean always eats off my plate. Just because I am a gentle boy does not mean that you can take advantage indulging in such behavior. I told her just now to stop doing so.

all that stuff above, and....

sawing the plate with knife. If you can hear the plate being sawed, that means you AREN'T cutting the food.

that, and adults cutting up all the food on their plate at one time (which inevitably leads to then shoveling into their gullet as fast as possible since they've gotten all that annoying "work" out of the way that slows them down).
