How did you make your stevia syrup?

I have been a sweet n low user for years, mainly in my coffee that's about it. I know it's bad but I tried equal, spelnda and stevia and I don't like the taste. What I really should do is buy sugar in the raw.. use 2 tsp. in my coffee instead of that chemical garbage. BTW they make stevia in raw form too, I had it but did not care for it.

My SO used to get kidney stones all the time, and was told by his doctor that its from Splenda. He stopped using it and hasn't had any issues since. I have heard others say that they too had kidney stone problems that went away after discontinuing Splenda.

I don't like any of the artificial sweeteners, they all taste gross to me. I always check labels to make sure there isn't any artificial sweeteners that weren't advertised elsewhere on the packaging. I just don't see how using the fake stuff is supposed to be better then just using real sugar in moderation.

I dont drink diet sode (or any soda often) but when I do, it usually is diet. Have you ever drank diet for so long that when you drank a regular soda, it tasted like syrup?

Only better if you really can't have sugar I would think. The only thing I prefer to have artificial sweeteners in than sugar is chewing gum, and then its Xylitol which doesn't taste bad.

When I do use artificial sweeteners I think Splenda tastes best, I tried Truvia once but it gave me
a stomach ache, maybe I used too much....

Yes. Definitely. I can't stand regular soda. I haven't had one since I was probably 12. I've been known to have a Cap'n Morgan and Diet Coke now and then, and I've sent it back to the bartender because I can tell they hit the wrong button and gave me regular Coke. Even with booze in it.

I love Diet Mountain Lightning soda (wal mart brand) .. I never dreamed a soda could taste as much like Regular Mountain Dew as that one does... it's much better than Diet Mountain Dew. As an added bonus, the regular price is $2.66 for a 12 pack.

Anyone remember cyclamates? I wonder if their banning in the United States was really due to health concerns or politics?

Sodium cyclamate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
