In the southeast, there is a grocery chain called Publix. Their deli fried chicken was really good. Now that I'm here in Colorado, nothing seems to compare to it.

We can do better than KFC or Popeyes .America has tons of local treasures. Get out and explore your country. They are not joking when they say their fried chicken is spicy.

My local supermarket - Acme. They have grilled or fried and both are great -- juicy and flavorful. Yummm!

I'm not a big fan of fried chicken, but of the chains I've had (2), I prefer Popeye's to KFC.
