My dear grandmother (I KNOW the recipe and this stuff is so good it can be eaten COLD and still taste good!) Yeah, that's right.

Southern Classic

Chik-fil-a is pretty good.

KFC and Popeye's: tolerable, okay when I just have to have a fried chicken fix. The rest of the stuff out there I'm kind of closed to. A lot of people use too many gimmicks in their recipes. Simple is better.

Woodrow LI, just because your state has a low population that does not support many fast food chicken restaurants, does not mean that these places do not make the best fried chicken.

There are very few fast food restaurants outside of Minot, Williston, Bismarck, Grand Forks and Fargo.

Have to remember the total population for the State is less than 700,000

We just don't have the population for any major chains.

True but it means we can't compare

We do have a couple KFCs so that is what is best up here.

Outside of their sauces, I don't get the massive Chick-fil-A appeal. It's a decent sandwich, but I can think of other fast food places whose chicken sandwiches I like better.

I never get fried chicken from a chain, I only have it once or twice a year and my mother-in-law makes it. So good. And yep delicious the next morning straight from the fridge for breakfast.
