Like the Spam with Bacon, but is harder to find than the other Spam products. For lunch I like Spam/Bacon, some sliced cheddar & fresh fruit. I know.....weird. We do not eat a lot of canned stuff any more. Hubby likes the Le'Seur tiny green peas. I keep Sun Gold tomato products for cooking, as well as condensed soups for casseroles & sauces.

Tuna in olive oil, anchovies, tomatoes (low sodium sauce & San Marzanos), salmon, & a few others. I don't obsess over my food & what is, might be, or isn't in it. If we like it, we eat it.

Good luck finding those black olives or water chestnuts any other way on a regular basis.

Spam is #1 and it's not even close.

Other canned foods I like are: tuna, salmon, sardines w/ tomato sauce, vienna sausage, kidney beans, beef and chicken broth.

My most favorite "small container" beers do come in bottles but the question was about stuff in cans.

Re: black olives - NPR recently did a bit about how come black olives stopped being jarred - significant heat processing needed to avoid food poisoning. Evidently some people got sick and died almost 100 years ago.
