Make that 5 pages, and I think I'm gonna have a bacon sandwich for lunch!

I won't even purchase bacon any longer, it all looks terrible, is very expensive and the flavor leaves a lot to be desired for me.
I miss it terribly but I can learn to live without it until it gets better and if it doesn't get better I will just live without it.

I told my family about this thread I started and that I might try this new bacon I learned of, Bentons, but since it was so expensive I could only cook half a pound of it each meal. They looked at me with daggers in their eyes. "That's not worth getting the pan dirty" exclaimed one daughter. "What are the rest of you gonna eat? Cause you know I can eat half a pound of bacon without even taking a breath" said hubby.
Guess I'll forego watering the lawn this summer so i can afford our bacon habit. All I know is I GOTTA try this Gold Standard Bacon now that I've heard about it.

no but since Daddy brings home the bacon the least I can do is fry it up. When the girls have a few more birthdays (only 12) I'll put them to work mowing lawns so they can buy their own flipping bacon!

Try dicing raw bacon, mixing it into lean ground beef and making burgers with it.

I see you're in North Carolina. You know, North Carolina also sells a dry-cured bacon product...
