Liver tastes good, but I don't have often, rather sparingly.

I'm over 45 and I can't bring myself to eat liver voluntarily.

That guy from Survivorman makes liver look good... Then again he eats just about anything and goes "mmmmm... wow that's good." I've personally never had liver but my parents don't like it, so it's good enough for me.

Last time I had liver was in basic. Everyone was turning it down but I asked for extra. Drill Sergeants couldnt understand why I didnt really care for it but was asking for extra helpings. Liver has a butt load of Vitamin K which is great for increasing physical performance. We had a PT test coming up and I needed every bit of help I could get.

I think it's the concept of eating a liver that turns most off, and it does have a unique taste that many wold not like.

I'm 45 and grew up eating liver and onions, not every week but maybe once a month. And always calf liver as the OP mentioned.

With the rave reviews of chicken liver i may give it a try.

I love liver. It doesn't matter if it's chicken or beef. The texture is just so rich and wonderful.

I can't tolerate the the taste of liver. Also once several years ago, I was forced to eat liver out of politeness and it gave me an upset stomach (which told me that I had always been justified in my dislike of it).

Pythonis, good for you! Try it again sometime, but always serve it with onions.
