I only like my mom's macaroni salad and her potato salad as well. I'll only eat my meatloaf and my MIL's meatloaf. Tuna salad I will eat mine and certain deli's.

Anything that has Mayo in it. I'm real anal about eating other peoples food unless it's family, but mayo based...forget about it..

I have never had a steak dinner in a restaurant that was better than a steak I cook at home, they always serve sub standard cuts , rubbery cheap steaks
even a cheap steak from the local grocery store is better than any Ive had in a restaurant, your paying for service and low quality cuts of meat at the restaurant

How to you cook your steak at home? I'm just the opposite, I can't seem to do it right.

I will not eat spaghetti in a restaurant and I really can't think of anything else at the moment.

It's quite possible to make great tasting potato salad without resorting to either miracle whip or pickle relish. Honestly....how can you taste anything but chemicals and sugar....and you certainly don't taste any paprika on top of that unholy mess.

Are you speaking of method or preparation or 'very well done' as in temperature?

All of these things, because if I made it, I know it was made with mayo, versus Miracle Whip, and contains no sweet ingredients like sweet pickle relish. Ditto chicken salad.
I hate getting any of these things, say, from a deli, and finding that they're SWEET. No, thank you. If I make it, it's guaranteed to have no vile sweetness.

We have one small diner type place that has a small deli attached.....and they have really good homemade chicken salad. I was so happy when I tasted it and found out it was made with mayo and had no pickle relish! I will get that from time to time....but the grocery store stuff....urgh...nope.
They actually have three types of potato salad homemade German (all vinagrette based...no mayo/mw at all), a homemade traditional mayo (lots of onion and celery) and they bring in tubs of a mw based for people that want that.

@The OP: I don't think that I myself have any such foods at all.
