I know I'm really hungry when I finally eat that frozen dinner that looked good… maybe a year ago… but the package is totally covered with thick frost when you take it out of the box.

OR

When I start checking the soup cans for expiration dates when I don't "feel like soup" today and hope that there's one that's not too old.
