I agree, except for "teriyaki" meat. And then, it should only have enough sugar for the carmelization, with little sweet taste left when served.
I USED to like Chinese food a LOT more than I do now.
Biggest reason, seems like they are now adding a LOT more sugar/sweeteners to the meat dishes......chicken/beef/pork with a bunch of sugary-glop is not something I care for.

I cant mix sweet with savoury. Just don't like it. Pineapple on pizza will make my gag, even though I love both things otherwise.
Don't like Carrots or Parsnips because they are too sweet. Love green veg though.
