What foods have you experimented with or tried that did and didn't go well together?

Lobster mac n' cheese doesn't work for me. Love them separately.

Potato salad with ceviche. Awesome.

potato salad, I like the separate ingredients, but when put together, I cant eat it- disgusting to me..

Sugar in things that don't need sugar, such as, well, potato salad. That is my pet peeve. Sometimes I just won't eat what I bought for lunch.

My coworker said that it doesn't matter because everything get mixed up in the stomach - but I don't believe it

BTW: French fries with mayonnaise is the ONLY proper way to eat them! Yum!!! yum!!! yum!!!
