I wouldn't go back, one turn off is enough for me to not want to go back. I don't like veal anyway.

This isn't the vegan forum so go over there and voice your opinions.

Veal is very good but as far as the Authentic Sicilian Restaurant I would seriously wonder about that if this is the same owner's third incarnation.

That's not the case in all parts of the state, but that's how it is if you are anywhere near the ocean.

CT is known for good Italian food so you may just never be able to find anything that good where you are now.
The OP is from Lafayette, Louisiana ... I kinda think she's near fresh fish.

What, so vegetarians aren't allowed to comment anywhere but the Vegetarian forum?

The statement was more than a comment - it was an insinuation.

Non Vegan/vegetarians get fussed at on those forums if they would dare go and post anything remotely close to what the above poster did.
I can't go on the vegan/vegetarian forum and post how delicious betsy is on the grill so why is it okay for the vegan/vegetarian to come on the general food forum and tell us we are an abomination and how terrible it is with all the pain, suffering and torment?

Original Poster: My apologies for the off topic post, it will not happen again.

Because this is the FOOD AND DRINK forum. Not the Meat-eaters forum.

IMO you will never find authentic Italian dishes down south. What they consider Italian food is far different from what you had in CT. Think hamburger helper lasagna compared to real lasagna.
