Okay, maybe I'll agree with the sushi and the pad thai. But since when does it cost $22 to make a rotisserie chicken at home?
That does seem really high....though whole chickens are getting to be very expensive. I pick them up on sale and toss in the freezer when they are 1.49$ a pound or less (so 5$ to 6$) .......but regular price is about 15$ to 19$ here....so yeah, a rotisserie chicken would be cheaper if I couldn't plan ahead.
All those 'cost to make' are way high.....even at regular pricing.

wow, I don't know where you live but we get them here for between .99 and $1.29 lb at Sam's and on sale for about $1.29, so a 5 lb chicken is going to cost about $6.00. The rotisserie chickens here run about $4.99 to $6.99, depending on where we get them. The only place we have paid an higher price was outside Toronto 2 years ago: $14.00 for one, I think and it wasn't even decent.

Possibly, but I'm going to guess that they're factoring in everything it takes to make it. The equipment, the spices, all the ingredients. Not just the main one.
