Okra. I live in the south and it seems most people like it. It gives me the shivers to think about it!

I forgot to mention sausage. Most people seem to love it, but I really hate it. The flavor is fine, but whenever I bite into it and get one of those hard nards, it activates my gag reflex and I can't finish it. I find those in hamburgers sometimes too, but when I ate sausage, I used to find them all the time. So disgusting. I don't eat sausage anymore because of the frequency of hard nards.

Raw mushrooms do taste like dirt but I noticed they will soak up flavors they are being cooked with.

Also-
CILANTRO
I hate it with a passion. It entirely ruins a dish for me. Even if there's just a tiny bit I can taste it and I can't finish my meal.

Another one is bay leaves. I don't mind if they're used during the cooking process, but if I get one on a dinner plate, it ruins the entire dish for me.

Lasagne! And Ravioli. And I'm Italian, so I get plenty of chances to be sure I'm sure I don't like it! lol....Ricotta cheese just grosses me out. I will eat it--I'm not that picky, but it doesn't taste good to me and I would never choose it.

I have had "good" lasagne, and I make "good" lasagne if someone asks for it, but I still don't like it any more than the trays of bad/frozen/runny lasagne I've had over the years.
