I'm curious how many there are out there who love their coffee black (no sugar either) and also enjoy unsweetened iced tea as a cold drink. Some people look at me like I'm crazy if it comes up in conversation or they see me drinking either one. Usually they assume that I'm on some kind of diet and that I'm somehow denying myself, but I've never had it any other way. The thought of putting milk or sugar in coffee seems kind of gross to me, but I could see the appeal of a little sugar in iced tea. I usually just drop a couple of lemon slices in the jug while its in the fridge. In terms of the health benefits I guess when you consider the calories you're not consuming it's a good thing?

I prefer unsweetened iced tea. I'm in the process of trying to put very little sweetener in my coffee but it is taking some getting used to. Sugar is just not something we should be eating if we can avoid it so, I'm working toward eliminating it entirely from my diet (other than fruit). But yeah, "sweet tea" served everywhere in the South has never appealed to me.

I hate sweetened tea and coffee. Adding cream is fine, but not required. If sugar is added, though, it becomes undrinkable, to me.

I drink my coffee black and my tea unsweetened. I'm not much for sweet drinks.

Coffee with cream and sugar
Iced Tea unsweetened with a wee bit of lemon
Hot Tea either unsweetened or with a wee bit of honey (it depends on the tea)

Also, I use real sugar or honey when I sweeten because I refuse to consume
manmade chemicals voluntarily which is what most artificial sweetner is.
Most of it gives me a migraine anyway so I can't use it.

I like my coffee with milk only, iced T unsweetened and my hot T with a bit of sweetener, especially if I have it with lemon.

Because I just drink coffee for the caffeine buzz and not the taste, I only drink black coffee. But as far as iced tea goes, it's usually raspberry iced tea or an Arnold Palmer (half lemonade, half iced tea).

I only drink unsweetened iced tea -- absolutely cannot stand sweetened tea, it tastes like sugar water to me.

I don't drink coffee at all, never acquired the taste for it.

My husband isn't a tea drinker, but loves his coffee -- he drinks it either black or with a bit of creamer in it, never any sugar.

Black coffee at home, sweetened with foamy milk only as a special treat occasionally in a coffee shop.
