Do any of you fellow posters like kippers? I sure do....especially when they are broiled, for breakfast!
It seems a bit hard to find Scotch kippers anymore.

Oh....the heavenly stink that they fill the house with on a weekend morn'!

I like em - with bread and butter. Fairways sells them if you're in New York.

I also like Finan Haddie. The only place I can seem to get it is a New England company.

Thanks for that great link, DG! Not too bad a price considering they are mailed to your door. Oh how the wife will be thrilled when I stink up the whole house!

I can't stand them, but Mr. BlueCat loves the things.

I love kippers. They're better grilled but they stink the house out so I just buy the canned ones and boil them.

Served over brown rice with butter, lemon, minced garlic, salt and cracked black pepper. I find they're better digested as a supper dish as opposed to breakfast.
