Made hard boiled eggs last night around midnight. Put them in cold water. Went to bed, forgetting all about them. It's 8:30 a.m. Keep or not?

I'd keep them, I've done that. Remember when you hide Easter eggs or have boiled eggs in an Easter basket, they are good for 2-3 days outside the refrigerator.
