I was watching a show recently (The Chew, maybe?) and they tried butter in coffee. They all seemed to really like it. It sounds weird to me, but I'm in the "don't knock it till you try it" camp.

It's a different mouthfeel and actually enjoyable. I've tried it for the novelty. If I didn't prefer my coffee black, I'd consider it over cream.

Putting something, anything, in coffee should be punishable by flogging. So should putting fruit on a pizza !

I regularly drink Bulletproof Coffee. As a result of eliminating all grains and fructose (yes, that means no fruit at all) and eating lots of butter and lard, I have lost over 20 pounds in the past 3 months and feel a lot better.

Saturated fat is your friend. Grains and fructose are your enemy.

Coffee is so good with real maple syrup. But it's still not my cup of tea!

I do coconut oil, butter and sweetener for my first cuppa the day. Pretty yummy, but it's best if you give it a whirl in the blender.

It's supposed to help your brain, but I think I may be too far gone

To all the people calling this "gross" I have to ask why. Humans survived for thousands of years on a diet consisting of predominantly animal meat and animal fat. Only in the last few centuries have we had the luxury of being able to call fat "disgusting".

I can't imagine giving up fruit. I'm a fruit junkie and happily noshing on cherries right now.
