Shredded cabbage salad with carrot, onion. green pepper. red and green cabbage all shredded or chopped and stirred together. Dressing is two parts mayonnaise and one part sugar and one part apple cider vinegar. Example 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup vinegar. Mix all the ingredients together and let the flavors blend including the dressing mixture. This is really good on hot dogs or hamburgers or barbecued anything.

If you take a crockpot and have a membership to Sam's club, try their frozen meatballs with a generous helping of their gourmet sauce cooked together for a couple of hours. I usually just shortcut this and bake them in the oven for about an hour or until they are completely cooked. This is so good it is sinful. Add toothpicks for serving.

I don' know how Sam's works at your place but in Pineville, N. C., Gourmet sauce (and I can't remember the brand) is sold where the other sauces are such as barbecue sauce. It is sweet tasting. I first discovered this when our church was having a Christmas party by traveling to a different home for each course. I absolutely embarrassed myself because I ate so many meatballs. They are like candy meatballs. I am sorry I don't know the brand because there may be other brands of gourmet sauce that are not that good. Barbecue sauce will work too but it is my opinion the gourmet sauce meatballs are better. I take the leftovers from a roasted chicken, pull it apart and add Sonny's barbecue sauce to it and make barbecued chicken(Bake in oven for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees or until it bubbles up the side of the baking dish.) I like this and my husband loves it.

Shouldn't you just make them sit in the corner 'til they promise to behave?
