Could you make a chocolate cake (box mix) or brownies and top which whip cream or cool whip and cherry pie filling for a loose interpretation of Black Forest Cake?

I was thinking while you were posting.
Devils food cake mix, cream cheese filling, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and serve on a platter strewn with cherries (should be in season now; so you have something to munch on as well) and whipped cream on the side. DO NOT OVERBAKE! If the dough gives a bit - out of the oven!

Just make vanilla pudding. Comes out of the package from the store in the ORIENTAL section.
You heat up milk, stir it in and VOILA!

Okay, now I've gone off to Epicurious.com (my favorite recipe site) and advanced searched for German Deserts. Got only 25! Then I added Fast and Easy to the search. ZERO results.
I have muffin pans and cookie sheets. No cake pans. No pie pans (but I'm willing to buy one of those as I can use it again since pre-made pie crusts are pretty good these days). No mixer except the old, avocado green hand mixer that I got as a wedding gift for the first marriage in 1975 (no, I'm not kidding. I use it very infrequently for whipped potatoes and whipped cream).

Do a German apple cake, Black Forrest cake or streussel. I've been to Germany and they don't really serve German chocolate cake.

Your store puts vanilla pudding in the "oriental" (I'm guessing Asian) section? Huh??
Every store I've ever been in puts boxed pudding in the baking section.

It's between the Mexican stuff, Asian stuff and Jewish stuff. Apparently it's all oriental.

When I lived in Germany, one of my favorite desserts was eiskaffe, basically strong coffee (that has been allowed to cool) poured over vanilla ice cream. Yum. Here's a recipe:
How to Make an Eiskaffee (Creamy Iced Coffee): 7 Steps
Bonus: No baking!
