What a question for my house! My guy gets up and begins eating and he's eating after I crawl in bed cuz I hear the gobbling going on from the living room. I have to nearly guilt him into watching what he's eating. He's smart but not well disciplined. Plus he's a stress eater.

If I'm full after dinner I brush my teeth and start focusing on sleep which does NOT involve food! I'm not as food driven as he is. (nor as selfish) Did I say that out loud?

I have hot tea year round around 6:30 when we get the kids up for school. Then breakfast after they are gone, around 8 a.m. Sometimes I don't eat lunch till 2 and that messes me up really bad. I'm diabetic and sometimes I have wild fluctuations depending on energy expended, stress food consumption. I always take my BG right before I go to bed (10:30 to midnight most nights)and if they are running low _anything under 120 ---I'll have some cheese or fruit. I'm on an insulin pump which helps somewhat but it's the devil to sleep with.

Some nights I stop eating 2 hours after I've gone to bed. Last night was one of those nights...couldn't sleep so I got up and ate a huge bowl of rocky road ice cream. Slept like a baby after that.

I stop eating when I'm no longer hungry. Rarely eat breakfast. Lunch isn't much if anything. I stay up late and generally have something between 10-2.
