Probably not a vegan, way too many restrictions for us to every have a good time going out to new restaurants and whatnot. Plus the whole "animal rights" thing tends to be a buzz kill. Vegetarians I'd have no problem with.
Date - maybe. Marry - probably not. I am not really crazy about the idea of shopping and cooking for two so different diets. Even going out pose some challenge, despite the fact that most restaurants usually have few vegan and vegetarian dishes on their menu.
Not to forget that being omnivore, carnivore, vegetarian or a vegan determines our beliefs. Most vegans/vegetarians I know always try to sneak some propaganda, and try to convert others to veganism. Almost like Jehovah's Witnesses...
I think the difference between a carnivore and a vegetarian is smaller than that between a vegetarian and a vegan, in terms of how much life disruption one can expect. Not dissing the vegan lifestyle though - I admire their convictions.

Hmmm, I just had a hankering for a couple of pieces of bacon and cooked some. Makes me wonder how a live-in veggie partner would handle the smell of cooking bacon and my devouring the delectable pieces of porcine.

Id have no problem with her choices/lifestyle, as long as she didn't have an issue with mine-which seems to be an impossibility- at first she asks me to be open minded, which I am,,,but she couldn't handle me eating protein
