This question is in regards to making tuna salad sandwiches (tuna, mayo, egg, relish, etc). It is not about using tuna only. If you dont make tuna salad sandwiches, dont like tuna, dont like sandwiches, etc then please dont bother to answer. Just kindly move along.

I get about two, maybe three. I use the serving size on th back of the can as a guideline and only add about a 2 tablespoons of mayo in total between all sandwiches. They are not very thick unless I use one slice of bread and double it over (or in other words make half of a sandwich).

So on average for those who make tuna salad sandwiches how many can you get from a single (2 ounce) can?
Using a twelfth of a can of tuna? Why bother? That's not meant to be snarky. It really is a perplexing idea to me.

Now my snarky comment is that I can make exactly ZERO sandwiches from a can of tuna, because it's vile stuff.

No one but you have mentioned 'tuna only'. You just can't understand that people like tuna salad on a sandwich...not a smear of tuna laced mayo.

huh...so you make each sandwich individually from the can? I make a big amount of tuna salad from the can and other ingredients and put it all into a tupperware container. Then when I want a sandwich i simply take a small amount and spread it in between 2 slices of bread.

I said "tuna only" in case there were selective readers who conveniently skipped over the word 'salad' and thought i meant a tuna sandwich.
Also, i have no problem with those who get one sandwich from a can of tuna (unless im the one buying the can). Its those who do that choose to laugh at or question me that ticks me off.

I can get two and a bit - and that's mixing with Miracle Whip, a boiled egg, and a bit of celery.
