I made pasta last week and took it out to reheat it. I put some in a bowl and microwaved it, but forgot about the leftovers still on the stove. I found them the next morning and put them in the fridge with a warning to my husband.
Back story: I am known in my family as The Goat. I can eat stuff that's been in the fridge for awhile, depending on what it is. If I've forgotten leftovers from a restaurant (in the car), I can nuke it and eat the next day. Even seafood.
That said, this happened last week. I'm reheating it now and it smells good, there was no hard-crispy-old pasta, but I'm just not sure...
For those of you goats, what would you do?
Ingredients:
Vermicelli
butter
olive oil
Vidalia onions
Roma tomatoes
minced garlic
scallions
Italian sausage
Parmesan

Can't afford to waste food sometimes, but with the scallions/sausage out overnight, that's a NO.
Otherwise, that batch could've been cut into small pieces, dumped into a frying pan with milk and butter, and heated up, along with several finely cut hot dogs. It wouldn't have been wonderful, but it would've been lunch around here.
