Are there any Thermomix (TM21 or TM31) users out there? I am a TM31 user and was hoping to find other Americans here that have good recipes to try out. There are forums out there that are dedicated to thermomix users, but most are not from the US and the recipes posted are not typical American ones half of the time.

I don't have it - it's a great gadget but not THAT useful for a 1-2 person's household, unless money is not an issue.
But, friends have it (hugely popular abroad) and I saw it in action in their house, twice already, with more to come as I became quite enthusiastic about it. They have TM6 model.
I think it's fantastic! For a bigger household very useful. This food processor and cooker in one saves so much time and is a godsend to people who aren't great in cooking. Pretty much it's a "set and forget" gadget.
From their website:
The Thermomix can cook, boil, simmer and stew; chop and mince meat, nuts, herbs and vegetables; blend; make yoghurt; mill rice, nuts and grains into flour; grind coffee, sugar and nuts; knead dough; whisk; grate; puree and crush. It can replace pretty much every kitchen gadget you own.

And every word is true. Busy people, families with kids, and those who don't want to buy ready to use highly processed food. Everything is done fast and simple.
The Thermomix makes it quick and easy to whip up things like biscuits, cakes, breads, mayonnaise, sauces and stocks from scratch, and there are a lot of people who have bought a Thermomix for this reason alone.
In my opinion and from my observation Thermomix can replace your KitchenAid and many other gadgets.

I can't share my own recipes - I don't own the gadget, but here are 105 American cuisine recipes to use with Thermomix:

Plenty to keep you busy and adventurous with your amazing gadget

Wow. I forgot I started this thread. Since I posted it, Thermomix has started selling in the US which wasn't the case back in 2014.

I still have mine and use it a lot but it is mostly a really expensive grinder and blender for a lot of things I use it for. I had a local Thermomix sales rep demo a TM6 for me. The sales rep runs a side business here in San Antonio that is mostly catering. Very nice lady that uses her own TM6 for the business...actually I think she has multiple units too.

I just need to use it more often for soups, steamed dishes, and other stuff. It is really great machine to have if you utilize all the features. It is my fault for not doing so.
