We got all the bells and whistles on both appliances. Didn't need the shredder or slicer on the mixer as the blade on the food processor works just great.

It is so nice to have a stand mixer. I cannot tell you how many times I say "I can't believe I only had a handmixer all those years".
Funny, but I was just the opposite. I went without a hand mixer for years; I either used a whisk or the big mixer, and I couldn't believe I did without it. I used to have a cupboard that was made just for my Kitchenaid mixer. The shelf inside the cupboard popped up to counter level, and then popped back when I was done. Now, since I must drag it in from the garage, I hardly ever use it.

*Come to think of it, that cupboard would be what I'd wish for, for anyone with a big mixer. It was so convenient.

As far as the original question, money is not an issue and if/when we decide to purchase land and build a home it will have most of what everyone has listed in addition to wall ovens and an old, 1930's stove included in the outdoor kitchen.
At our first house we had an old Chambers range, it was a lovely yellow. Boy do I miss that stove. If money was no object I would purchase another Chambers but this time modernized as my last one was not.

You brought up something important. Convenience. If you can't get to a small appliance easily you just don't bother with it. I was first going for the sleek clean counter look when I realized those clean counters are for display only. A real cook has to have her useful appliances handy to be used. So I had to decide which items were most important to me. I opted for the Kitchen Aid standmixer, the food processor, can opener and all my canisters. I used to schlep flour and sugar, etc back and forth across the room from the pantry to my prep area. I had to decide to put my beloved George Foreman under the counter and I find I just don't use it.

I'm too lazy I guess.

I don't have the simple sleek counters we see in magazines but with my favorites where I can get to them I'm more willing to try more "complicated" recipes. On the other side of the kitchen I keep my Food Saver by the toaster oven. I wouldn't use that wonderful Food Saver if I had to get it out for each use. In my pantry I have my 35 year old Harvest Gold Blender-it got a new gasket last year and is as good as new- my waffle iron, my hand held mixer and my mini food processor.

Seems to me the OP was talking about things a little more down-to-earth than a personal chef or a new kitchen by their choices, so in that vein, I might like some really nice linens (which I'd have to hide from the Mr. because he wipes up anything with my nice towels), and I've got my eye out for pretty ice cream sundae dishes. I got an ice cream maker for Christmas, so I'd like to try making some ice creams and sorbets. I already have a lot of nice kitchen stuff, like a KitchenAid stand mixer and a food processor, both of which I use regularly.

If price were no object, I would like a Wolf professional gas range.

If price REALLY was no object, I would like a fabulous and fully equiped outdoor kitchen (complete with brick pizza oven) AND the nice house to go with it!!! Yeah, I know, dream on.....

A personal chef...short of that...

More space/countertop....not that either

1) a Vitamix
2) a Mac Daddy slow cooker (combo pressure cooker/rice cooker if there is such a thing)
(completely progammable, timer, various settings, etc)

Now if we add to this things I want just to want, and may not even use that much....
-- a bread machine
-- a mandolin or some other could slicer dicer (I do a lot of big salads with lots of ingredients. So the perfect chopper -- that could do carrots -- AND tomatoes without crushing them -- would be great. But those textures are so different I haven't found that yet.

That's why I would need more counter space.....so I COULD have all these small appliances!

I have, or have had at one time, every kitchen gadget I could get my hands on. Once the kids grew up and left home I have little everyday use for many of them but they come in handy occasionally. My Cuisinart food processor (which I once thought I could never live without) gave up the ghost and I haven't missed it. My Kitchenaid stand mixer comes out of the cupboard during the holidays. The pasta maker makes an appearance when I want to entertain the grandkids.

So I can't think of any one item that's on my wish list. But like many others I could certainly use some structural changes. I've always lusted after a huge walk-in pantry but that will never happen. Enjoy your new purchases!

If money were no factor I would hire great chefs to teach me how to cook.

Yes, I can cook a little and I enjoy it very much. But I do not have many skills.

I would hire a great Japanese, American, French, Korean and Italian chef and learn as much as I could about the food and its preparation.

- and the above would be just a start!
