The best yogurt, IMO, is thick from cream and no sugar at all. It is made with cream and some milk. It is so thick it can be put on a spoon upsidedown and it won't fall off the spoon. That's thick. And it sure doesn't have any fish in it!

Fish in yogurt? YUCK. Good enough reason to make yogurt yourself. It is not difficult.

Default And why is there fish in my milk?

1. Why does it have an advisory stating that it contains milk, when milk is clearly listed as the first ingredient above.

2. Talapia fish...why? Really, why add one of the most contaminated Asian-farmed fish to yogurt?
I've been having a lot of stomach issues in the past week, and I couldn't figure out why, since I haven't been eating anything unusual--that I knew of.

Tonight I happened to look at the ingredients list on my carton of Kirkland organic whole milk from CostCo. I was appalled when I read the following: "Certified Organic Grade A Milk, Refined Fish Oil (Sardine, Anchovy), Fish Gelatin (Tilapia), Vitamin D3."

Since when does organic whole milk have a bunch of fish in it, and why isn't that prominently displayed on the front of the package? I'm sensitive to fish oil and I'm just lucky I noticed this before I got a case of hives and had to go to the ER.

There are a zillion videos and recipes for making your own yogurt. But all require purchased commercial yogurt. Just be careful what yogurt you guy.

I only eat chobani yogurt, because it doesn't have a bunch of strange in it, and I wouldn't touch tilapia, ever.
