I get most of my new recipes from Better Homes & Gardens.

I used to buy them a lot before the internet. Now I can find recipes on line for free. I still have all my old print books though, and may some day get rid of them. The one I'll always keep is The Joy Of Cooking. The internet will never replace it.

Me, too. I got rid of a lot of my cookbooks, but will never get rid of that.
Whats good about the internet is that you can find videos of cooking techniques if you're not quite sure what to do.

DW gave DD a loved old Betty Crocker. After SIL who likes to cook had a small kitchen fire they decided to dispose and replace it rather than clean that cookbook. Bad idea, we still can't find a replacement at a reasonable price. (early 50's version) Still buy a few new and used. Most day to day are from online sources.

I have 2 old Betty Crocker cookbooks. They're old and yellowed and fallng apart but I'd never part with them.

Try Craigslist or FreeCycle.org

FC is where I got my second one from.

I prefer cookbooks that are more than just recipes, so I maintain a pretty decent cookbook collection that includes both vintage and contemporary publications.

I have been collecting cookbooks for my entire life so I have a lot and still buy them. Yes, I know that I can find any recipe online, but I read cookbooks like some people read novels. I find it very enjoyable to sit down and starting reading through a good cookbook. The ones that I use most are my Southern Living cookbooks, but I also just like to read the regional ones that I collect when traveling.

LOL... I'm glad I have some company. I thought I was the only one.
