I remember seeing a poster of deep fried butter at the county fair. Serious heart-attack for real, and how is that even achievable? Deep fried butter?? (I'm guessing the freeze it! Then fry)

Yeah...that sounds quite redundant...butter fried in butter...

Deep fried deviled eggs. I haven't tried them, but I understand from friends that the hot creamy yolk makes this a true delicacy.

Up until I had some, I never knew fried pickles could be so good. First time I ever even heard of them was in the movie 'Sweet Home Alabama', years ago. Yummy!

Then, it will deep fry if it has a coating. I am sure Paula Dean has already done it.

Be careful about fryer explosions.

For me, I wouldn't say it was strange because it's a fairly common dish at BBQ places nationwide, it was fried pickles as well. I try to fry random Asian snacks from the local market sometimes with limited success. Would love suggestions that are not sweets. I really like fried pickles.

I've never see this in person let alone try it, but I was watching a news segment about our state fair and caught a glimpse of a vendor selling fried bubble gum.

I don't know if that just means something has that flavor or if it's literally gum (that you're supposed to spit out) with fried batter. It didn't sound that good though and if it's the bubble gum you spit out, it seems like an even grosser concoction.
